The Charitable Vicomtesse

Welcome to the planet of Roslov. You have been invited to a charity ball hosted by the Vicomtesse Shirley Eaton de Clovis, also to be attended by the great and the good of Roslov's first city. Rubbing elbows with such people is bound to be profitable, one way or another.

A statless investigation set-up with a sci-fi gloss to it. One major mystery is fully detailed, but each of the described NPCs at the party have something going on that can form the basis of an additional session on or near Roslov.

This adventure is the result of binge-watching far too many episodes of the 1960s ITV show The Saint featuring Roger Moore in the title role. Most of the NPC secrets are taken from plots in the series, and many of their names are actors in the TV series.

It is only very lightly sci-fi themed (the main nod to it being that PCs are visiting from offworld, along with some descriptions mentioning colony ships and advanced prosthetics/body-mods), so should be easily adaptable to any setting that has enough idle rich around who might be persuaded to give some money to charity via a ball. The original Saint books are set in the 1930s-1960s or so, but without offworld visitors.
